A friend is looking for a 355 spyder...

I searched the archives of Forza, there does not appear to be a buyers guide yet...
other than searching the HUNDREDS of threads about 355s, anyone know of a good summary of the years, their good and bad qualities, etc ????

Also, maybe this has been beat to death... but with later model Ferraris, including the 355, is there REALLY any difference between a US and a Euro car? Euros are definitely cheaper, but is this just perception?

Just like most cars, buy the later year'd car, gives them time to work the bugs out of a new model.

or if you buy an earlier car, make sure it has been driven a bit and had all of the updates. For the early 355 the big items are valve guides and headers. A low mileage one sub 15k may not have had time to experience the wear that would cause the replacement of those items.

Martin, were you able to disguise the flood damage on that 355? Where the hell are my kids' styrofoam sharks!? I told them Uncle Martin is playing with them in his pool.

BTW Mike, I'm kidding about the flood damage.
