    Hey all,

I want to buy a new BluRay player, but somebody recommended that I just buy a PS3 and use it's BluRay playing capabilities rather than go out and spend $1k on a seperate Sony BluRay player. Another person mentioned that it's not the best route unless I'm going to be playing the PS3 a lot and getting my money's worth from the system as a whole rather than just using it to play BlueRay discs.

Does anybody have any advice about this? Is it worth buying a BluRay player on it's own or should I just get a PS3 and use it for everything (game station, DVD player, & BluRay)? I just bought two new 52" Sharp Aquos 1080p LCDs (one for family room and the other for my bedroom), so I'll want to start watching as much stuff as I can in BluRay, HD, etc... The electroic/sound guys will be able to set it up so that I can use the PS3 or BlueRay player in both rooms on either TV.

Thx in advance for any advice or tips.

PS3 plays Blu-Ray movies really well, most of the times better than stand alone players.
    I'd say get a PS3 if u want a Blu-Ray player.
Only downside is if you have an integrated setup, you are limited to using only the PS3 remote to control the Movie.
This is becuase PS3 Remote uses Bluetooth not RF/IR.
