    how many cold cranking amps are you guys using? was wondering if someone new what i should be looking for? i know its a v12 and should have some stricking power to start. 700cc, 800cc, 900cc? and where to pick one up..thanks, kerim..

    I've never posted in this area before, but hands down, the best battery is an Odyssey IMHO. Can't tell you which one is best for your model, but your local dealer should be able to point you in the right direction. You'll end up with something that looks too small to possibly be the right battery -- don't worry about this as they are very powerful.

    I just bought an Optima red and I think it's the best battery I've ever had.

    As far as the CCA, any modern battery should work unless you live in Alaska. The RC is more important, the higher the better.

    Odessey is best but you need to make adapters for mounting them. the internal resistance is the most important spec. These batteries are sulfuric acid free so no spillage and rust issues for these as well as the Optimas.

    Yeah, the guys in my specialist battery store were absolutely 1000% adamant that Odyssey are the best. Relatively few people have heard of them though because they don't spent much money on sales and marketing (unlike some of the other popular choices out there). I'm certainly very happy with mine.
