In around a month or so I should be pulling the trigger on an AM V8 Vantage Roadster and would like some questions I have over the purchase to be answered. First off just some info as to what I am looking for, it must be an 09 or 10 because of the 4.7L, a roadster, have sport shift, new or light use (under 1,000mi or 2,000mi) and no black exterior (I feel it hides the cars beautiful lines)

    1. What, specifically, are the differences between the 2009 and 2010? (Personally, I can only tell on the 2010 side skirt, rear lights, and rear wing lip seems larger)

    2. What is one year of the Aston Martin warranty valued at? Reason being a 2009 should have one less year covered under warranty, which should reduce its overall selling price in my mind.

    3. From anyone with experience, what can I expect to negotiate off MSRP ($ amount or % amount)? I’ve read some pretty high figures but would like some more clarification. (Furthermore, my local dealer has several 09 models but no 10 models, which makes me speculate that they can’t even move there 09 models so they haven’t purchased 10 models yet)

    4. I have never purchased a car in this range (exotic and 100K+) before so any buying tips would be appreciated (I’m sure there is forum topic/website somewhere on the internet over this)

    5. I feel that with a purchase this large it shouldn’t matter where the car comes from. For example, having the options I want or saving a considerable amount on the purchase price shouldn’t limit my purchasing distance even considering shipping could near 2K. What are your takes on this?

    6. Also, will I receive different service treatment at my local AM dealer if I purchased the car directly from them instead of another dealership (I know the PR answer is ‘no’ but seriously)
