    Ok,
So I've located a proper, low miles Enzo......Now I have to decide whether or not to part with my 04 360 Spider.
Question for the day is what can I expect to get (wholesale vs. retail) for a completely loaded-out & mint condition 04 360 Spider (red/tan), 6-speed w 3,400 miles....?

    TIA, Joe

I think that you could probably sell your 360 for at least 180,000. But, the question is, do you want to? You dont seem 100% on selling it. BTW:What color is the Enzo you have found?

I am glad you found your low mile Enzo!! Just some areas with your new car, make sure to have the steering pump, and rack, frontend lift, and the defusers checked since you have low mile car these area are of real concern, and I think every body that recently bought a Enzo needed these issues looked at...

You might want to check out this enzo as well...it has only 500km on the odometer and is recently serviced and ready to go. I know the people who are selling it and they are very service minded and good people.

there is about 10-15% in exotics, if a dealer catches someone sleeping they can pop a 15% deal. So if you do your own deal you can keep about 10% more $$$, I wouldnt sell it, if you have to to do the Enzo I'd think twice about buying the Enzo. You'll still drive it, its a totally different experience, and you can park it with out headaches etc, Enzo's can be a pain sometimes, its a ordeal everytime you drive it somewhere, other F-cars arnt, except f40 f50 etc

The money isn't the issue...It's more of what you said about being an ordeal.
With where I live even the 360 gets to be a problem. People tailgate to see what it is, or swerve over to get a look and risk running me off of the road shoulder. I recall driving my F355 back from FCI and having 6-7 trucks come close to broadsiding me. My Rover is my daily car...The Ferrari's rarely see past my driveway. I'm seriously thinking of purchasing several hundred acres and putting in a private road course just to be able to comfortably drive the Ferraris; would be a great excuse to get my boys into Kart racing.
An Enzo purchase is more of having the car thing. Making 5%+ in money market accounts....I think the Enzo values may fair well and it's something that I can look at in my garage.
Still torn, even though I have found what seems to be the perfect car, priced right.
Thought I'd be satisfied with the F40.....
I have pondered over trading the 360 for a 430. Just can't seem to get passed tossing my 360 and & $125,000.00 for a somewhat similar auto.

    Ferrari, the great addiction. :)

That has always been my dream! Seems like a really cool idea and a whole lot of fun, especially with an enzo and f40. Good luck with whatever you do joe, but if youve found a car that seems that good, go for it and try not to let the crazy followers ruin your driving experience. And if you build a road course, youve got to invite me sometime! ;)

    goodluck with your search

jati just wondering what makes you want the enzo when you have an f40? personally i think i would enjoy the experience of the raw f40 but im sure the technology and the f1 on top of cc brakes etc, would be impressive but yet more refined, less fun in some ways. By the way i think your job is awesome and will refer the website to my friends. Thanks

its 100 times more of an episode in an enzo than any car i ever had, except when the hummer came out 12 or 13 years ago. you cant leave the enzo out of sight-unless i take it somewhere i cant hide it when i park it. if i cant hide it then i have one of my security staff follow me and then stay with the car, while i go in and do what ever it is i'm doing-no exceptions-everyone will lean on it etc. zero respect, i have a few spots in vegas and beverly hills its fine in the valet because i know them and they handle the problem, but i'm not the only guy there in an enzo or something similar.

It's a real shame in a way isn't it. I guess there's always a compromise (or two ;)) owning a car like that. But I'm sure the good outweighs the bad :)

people are careless and lack respect for others property in general, it just is the way it is, but the enzo is worth the sacrifice yes?

its worth it, but it takes practice to learn how to own such a car, not jst the driving skills but how pick the right Valets thats $100 almost everytime, i go to places first in a different car say a Phantom or a Murcilago to test the water so to speak before I take the Enzo, now if a friend who has an Enzo then i'll go because I trust my friends. its a responsibility, people do stupid **** when they see you they try and race, park in your blind spot on the freeway going 70 so they can stare at the car etc. sometimes you just have to open it up to get away,

i was followed in my Murci for almost 200 miles form 40 MPH to 150mph on the 5 freeway in central califirnia I couldnt shake them, i know my way around and pulled into a very busy well lit area and got out of my car quickly and went into the store, comming off the off ramp i went into the corner hard-I could smell the tires and they did their best not to lose me, I got out and they were gone-I've had people follow me and pulled off and asked for a picture, these guys didnt wanrt a picture they were gone, and that was just a Murci, i couldnt run it more than 150 because there was too much traffic and i would get tied up and they would catch me,

its way worse in the Enzo, you knida lose track of things like its a million dollar car and they might not make that in their lives and when you see it everyday you get used to it its not a big deal, but they remember seeing it forever, like a movie star or something, so there is responsibility but, its worth the headaches most of the time, once in a while we take the Camery for a break.

Ugh. I aspire to that level of car ownership, but it's unfortunate to hear that yes, it (the gawkers) can get a lot worse.

Thanks, but no congratulation are in order yet...The Enzo deal which was supposed to be wrapped-up today, went south. My car broker told me that everything was in order and that the car was mine. I arranged a certified bank check this morning, while awaiting paperwork & proof of the recall campaigns completion from the seller. Throughout the day today, I was assured that the car was mine...& the seller was just in meetings.
At 5:00PM my broker called to tell me that a deposit, was taken on the car....
    Typical...but a pisser, none-the-less.
The sad part is that this car was a 1000 mile Enzo (red/red) for a tad over 1,100,000.00
I have a few other leads, but this loss has left a bad taste and may perhaps be an omen. :p

The deal fell through on my original Enzo, waited no longer than a week, picked up one with a few extra miles (still low) with nicer interior for less than the first, so dont give up or loose faith because of one deal, its just a car, there are more...
