It's a long story, but it looks like I will need to buy a new helmet in the Boston area before I head up to Mt. Tremblant. Any suggestions for a place that sells auto racing helmets?

    Thx, Dale

Does that mean you'll be here in our sunny city or just buying a helmet here? :)

    Texas!
Thanks Dude. I'll call you later today.

Yep, Dan, the Dr Who Traveling Medicine Show (Good for whatever ails ya) will be coming your way. Well, kind of. I will be coming up next week for my daughter's graduation, which will mean a week of running around the hills of the Shire. Shuffling family back and forth to Logan. Hauling butt to Mt. Tremblant for a week of Ferraris, and then driving my daughter's car home. (She is moving to NYC.)

Time permitting, I'd love to meet some F-Chatters. Perhaps on June 12th?

    Dale

PS Nice Stradale. I wish that I had never sold mine.

Dale, just to reinforce Doody's recommendation of HMS Motorsport. Peabody is about a 15 minute drive North of Boston (30 minutes during rush hour). They have SA helmets in stock, very friendly, and also have everything else you might need. They are very active in PCA and BMW CCA too.

If you'll be in town on Saturday the 10th, please come to Ferrari of New England (just west of Boston) between 4-6 pm, where there will be a reception. I'd love the opportunity to meet you - you've written some of my favorite posts on FChat!

Wish I could go to Tremblant too, but having just returned from the FCA National meet, I'm pretty exhausted, and the 18th is our concorso in Hartford (if you're leaving early from Tremblant, you could just head south and check out Concorso!)

    vty,

Thanks for the kinds words. If I could, I would. But Saturday, the 10th, I'll be up at Dartmouth for the big show, i.e., my daughters' graduation. Given the dough that this thing cost, I'm gonna get every penny's worth of the fun and games!

CAUTION! I just heard from a friend who was planning on going up to the Festival in Tremblant that FNA has now taken the owner lapping sessions off the schedule, so you may not need a helmet (doh!). Unless you're driving IN the Challenge series now? :)

Don't worry. I'm also going for the Ferrari Driving Experience.

    Have you ever been experienced?

Which session are you attending? A very good friend with whom I work is an instructor in the program (when he has time; he's a former 360 Challenge champ).

P.S. Don't wear any non-Puma Ferrari gear; they frown upon it. Though I suspect that Lawrence still wears his Hilfiger stuff! :)

Make sure you get a SNELL 2000 or latter. FCA will require them starting next year.
