    Hi,

Does anyone have experience buying used parts from wrecked car from Eurospare? If yes, how much off typically compare to new part?

What is the process like? You e-mail them about the parts you want and ask for a quote from one of their wrecks?

If its a popular part it may well already have sold - there are other breakers in the world - sometimes they show in their ordering system the availability of used vs new

Plenty of threads about Eurospares and the other breakers

What do you need (& where since you give no indication of your location) ?

Used bits about half price, nothing wrong with them and good to deal with. Just e mail to see if they have what you want.

Typically about 40 to 45% of new price is the norm plus vat

They have been going a long time so clearly their business model works.

Are you in the UK? Also, what part are your looking for? Eurospares is a great resource, but sometimes with shipping/VAT it gets more expensive. We also have breakers on the board, I have gotten many used parts for super cheap. Check Ricambi also, they honor the FCA discount and ship cheap so sometimes it just makes sense to buy new. A little legwork can save $$$$ or headaches...

Typically people buy used parts when new are no longer available. I've had mostly positive experiences with them yet they've become a bit sloppy. I recently bought a used airbox cover and stated up front it must be perfect with no dings or dents. I was told "it's mint". When I received it, 2 very obvious dents and not from shipping. They did take it back but it was pretty clear they were too lazy to have a look in advance.

I bought from them last week (not a used part though) and got my order within 5 business days. The parts guy, Graham, was great. Just thought I'd share my good experience.

Hi I have used them and found them to be most unprofessional and very expensive, I bought a supposedly new exhaust from them and found it to be faulty, to be fair they sorted it but it should never have been sent out.
I would not deal with them again, Mark

I agree with Mark. Never been able to secure a used part from them despite trying on countless occasions. Difficult to deal with and postage costs on new parts are ridiculous in my view.

I've always had great service and quick delivery of both new and used parts.
