Thought we could get it without rear bumper removal.... Don't even bother. Takes 10 min to pull bumper and so much easier. Will let you all know how it sounds.

It's on and I really couldn't be happier. I am going to follow this up with a longer reply that may help others when making an exhaust desicion. All I can say for now is it sounds just like I imagined it should. Loud and raw!

Yes. Absolutely or possibly just in my mind :) I am also running stock headers and cats, I can't imagine this car with aftermarket headers and test pipes. I can make people walking down the road jump out of their skin now if I want to with a few engine blips on passing lol

I said I would expand on this and I found some time today, hopefully it will help others like me who researched exhaust systems endlessly for months until you were more confused than when you started.

Ill give the short version of why I changed out my Tubi for a Twin Sound. I am new to Ferrari but not cars in general, in fact I have owned everything from custom choppers, Harleys, Camaros, Mercedes, BMW etc and I have always put loud exhausts on each. I also have straight pipes on both my Arctic Cat 1100 Turbo sled and Chopper now and they are LOUD! When I first picked up my 360 with a Tubi exhaust I was disappointed. I didn't feel like it sounded as though I thought a Ferrari should sound like. I have not heard many as there are not a lot in my area but the few I have heard has been so long I really don't remember. My first thought when I got the car was it sounded mean on start up, and screams nicely at 7-8k rpm but as much as I love that sound, generally do not drive around in those rpm ranges. Through cruising RPM's between 3-5k I really did not hear the exhaust from in the car but more of the engine winding. I did get my car in the winter and only had it out a handful of times all with the top up so that perhaps muffled the sound slightly. I did have a lot of people tell me the car was loud and sounded great but I still wasn't happy. I am 38 years old, young at heart and still a little obnoxious when it comes to the sound of my cars. I started to think that maybe most of the people who have a Tubi on their 360's are maybe an older generation than myself and what is loud to them may not be to me, I wasn't sure and the YouTube videos I watched I felt were deceiving.

Over the weekend I put a Capristo Twin Sound on and I could not wait to start it, even before I had the valves hooked up. The second the car started it literally sent shivers down my spine and was almost ear piercing in the garage but quite honestly even better sounding than what I had expected it to be. I had my friend manually close the valves and the difference is unmistakable. We quickly finished the work, hooked up the remote and did some test laps up and down the street with some quick videos and all 3 of us working were ecstatic with permi-simles.

In conclusion: I am a gear-head, same guy who used to strip cats off cars, and strip mufflers down to gut the insides to make our toys loud. I think if I ever decide to put after market headers and high flow cats on my car now it will be only to eliminate the pre-cats issue piece of mind. It will definitely not be so I can make the car any louder, although it would be pretty awesome to hear my car now with headers and test pipes haha.

Also I can not imagine coming home late with valves open in my peaceful, family oriented neighborhood or Capristo Level 3 or any exhaust similar, I probably would not leave after 10pm, which is why I wanted valves. Other exhaust I considered were Nouvalari Super Sport, Larini, Agency Power and Factory Race. Unfortunately I never had a chance to hear any other exhaust in person and took a chance on the twin sound. Since it straight pipes it basically and by passes the silencer, I am sure the Agency Power system would be the same if not similar (seems reasonable), it would just come down to price vs aesthetics... the Capristo is beautiful but almost double the price of the AP.

Thoughts on the Tubi, good sound, better than stock for sure, nice presence on start up, kind of gives you that "oh, that's a Ferrari sound", screams at high rpm if you want, but not that F1 shrill people talk about, and of course very respectable for cruising, a good choice for someone who wants more sound from their car. And for all you guys running crazy loud Tubi's on youtube I still don't know why your cars are 10x louder than what mine was... different Tubi made at different times...a mystery I may never solve :)

That kid standing behind your car yesterday almost ran for cover when you started it, and was practically cowering when you revved it with the valves open.

I prefer the Tubi myself because it is more comfortable for cruising and has a very clean sound. More aggressive than stock, but not obnoxious. The louder ones you see on YouTube are typically because they have added high flow cats in addition to the Tubi.

Enjoy your Capristo. Exhaust is like spice for cars, that is why there are so many choices!

Congrats on picking up a hugh quality exhaust system. My 430 had a twin sound with cap headers and fabspeed test pipe. Backpressure was completely lost hence at low rpm she ran like an old dog. But at high revs nothing compared to it. Not even an SV on larinis.

You need hi flow cats! That will really bring up the pitch of the exhaust tone..
