Bye the way the trip out West is coming up again for us...

We did it 11 years ago...Get real it will be one of the greatest things most will ever do. We did it with a '53 and a '85. Carol and I did one of the most imposing legs last year in a Vette. So drive out for the event of your life. We did London to Mongolia in 2011. This should be a snap for anyone else.

Went to Hot August some years ago....Guess, guess..without saying more. Maybe have experienced too (so much that I never thought was worth mentioning)...Was in Columbus some, many years ago for the hot rod stuff and I never came for that....A guy had a '39 Mercury airport limousine one of a few built... The passenger side door went back like how many feet to the passenger side door on the left. It was the coolest rod I will ever see...and no camera with me...

For those who may drive out for the Pebble stuff this year...If you do drive back...For me a stop at the Salt Flats was one to remember...Just all the classes...Hadjust met a wonderful father and son in CA who had done a "stream liner" running there....it had just started to rain...the car hadn't come back....which met that it probably had set a record...Guys you need to be there. After Pebble...at Bonneville guys hang around to set records...a wonderful moment at least for me.....Just to have my car on the flats was a great moment for me which is another chance story....This stuff comes up in our life so quickly for those magical moments....
