    Got a call by our salesman at the local BMW dealership on Saturday who said he had a great deal on a new '05 Z4 3.0l loaded with every option except navigation .. Long story short, the '03 Z3 3.0L Dakar Yellow II is history, the '05 red merlot 3.0L Z4 is the future.. Taking delivery the end of next week or the beginning of the following.


    This isn't our particular car but it's very similar (pic found on the net).

    I guess a new Boxster wasn't in the equation huh? You know us Porsche folks have to throw in our 2 cents. :)

    Probably could've gotten one cheaper then the sticker on this car-- ridiculously expensive-- thank god I got close to 20% off.. Hope you're not upset that our cars'll match now :).

    It had 10 miles when I drove it, 20 now.. Not enough to get a good impression but it seems to be much more of a car and less of a toy than then Z3. Much more solid in terms of structural rigidity as well as fit and finish..

    Will really get to drive it over Thanksgiving weekend..
