    marketing gimmick pure and simple
If you want a good CAO get a Brazilia or Italia

I've not tried the Soprano Edition, but from what I've heard, it's not a great cigar. Doesn't mean it's a bad cigar, just hasn't lived up to all the hype and marketing.

If you want to try out other CAOs, get their sampler. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-AOMISC5&cat=19&page= I bought this a while ago and the only one I enjoyed was CAO Cameroon.

I personally like CAO Black and CAO VR. Great cigars. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-OHA&cat=3 http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-WWA&cat=3

Italia is a bit more full flavored then the brasilia darker wrapper a heaiver smoke, and fanstastic to me, I personally prefer the Italia over the Brasilia

the brazilia is a MUCH better smoke than the suprano. The suprano is a very inconsistant smoke, and ive found the draw to ber to much for my liking. It tastes ALOT like the CAO aniversario, just rebadged. I must confess though, i bought a box from redcloud because i wanted the cool box

Ok no problem I'm glad to enjoy and share my love of cigars with others.
I just started with these cigars a week ago but I'm really enjoying them, until the next new one comes around for me.

Ok! My "cigar of the moment" is AVO Maduro robusto. A very nice smoke, fits very well with a glass Amarone. ;-)

sopranos are overhyped and overpriced. i prefer the cao italias to the brazilias -- the MX2 is a good smoke, if you're into full-bodied. I have yet ot try the Cx2, but i'm sure it'll be just as good.

well they're worth a try, and would probably be worth it if it didnt have the "sopranos" name/publicity/marketing attached to it. because of that, they command a premium, reducing their value overall [unless you REALLY REALLY like the show...even then, at that price, there are better smokes :)] let us know how you like 'em though! :)

Your absolutly right about their price compared to other "better" cigars. You could by Zino Platinum (one of my absolutly favourites) in that price range...

funny thing is, i went to the shop yesterday and while i was looking at the CAOs, i was tempted to get a soprano...ended up just getting some italias, and some Mx2's instead.

    Cosign on the CAO Black....

CAO Black might be my favorite all-time cigar. IMHO, it's the best cigar for the value. Smokes like a cigar 10x the price.

Called the store that promised me the "America", and they haven´t got any. I think it were only bs they told me the first time (it´s btw not my "regular" shop). Does anyone know of a proper store in the Stockholm area, that keeps CAO America in stock?

I´ve still not tried my Sopranos yet, but today after work I tried a Italia , and I really liked it (even more than the Brazilia). That one I will for sure keep in stock in my humidor ;). Today I also talked to the guy in "my" regular store. And he confirmed my thougts of that the "others" bs:ed me about "America". They are only avalible in America he said. So I think I will have to wait with that one. But now I have a cople of Italias at least... ;)
