James, my car is scheduled for a major service on Sept. 29 at Shadetree -- thanks to everyone for the recommendation! The wait is freaking killing me.
It will be so worth it. Good luck. I missed the live Viper/Cobra shows.. but caught the vids. Poor fellas... good thing nobody was injured. I've driven stock and modified vipers and cobra kits as well. Those things get squirrely very quickly if you lean on them too hard. A weekend driving school should work wonders for a heavy throttle.
I just hope that the bozos don't end up getting the venue moved (or canceled outright). I love the current location and BMW does a great job organizing the event. I can imagine them deciding that the liability of some idiot taking out a group of bystanders isn't worth the goodwill.
I agree, and I'd rather not see Plano police patroling the exit. Watching and hearing the cars take off is a big part of the overall event.
Thanks Eddie, THAT car will make ANYTHING tingle ! ! ! ! It's a 6 point star filter, works well on the 52mm lens, only in the sun & at only at the right position, I just got a new 600mm-1000mm lens & trying to find one for that - just think of the secret pic I can take ! Can make even Don look good ! ! BEWARE ! ! ! BEWARE ! ! ! CAROLYN with a camera ! ! ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those drivers were lucky. The past few years, a couple of Viper owners have died on my street while getting onto Preston Rd and showboating. The last fatality, the Viper ended up in the path of a Suburban (a mom and children) where the collision caused the Suburban to roll over at least once. ///Michael
Nice, the Cobra driver hits the curb than makes a dash for the tollway. Golly, I wonder why your car is pulling to the left now?
