    Usually Abi or Kirk start a thread like this, but are many people going to the Chatham C&C this Saturday? Weather will be nice- I missed the past 2 due to other commitments, so I've been in withdrawl thus my motivation to post this :)

    Location: Parking lot of the Woodland Bakery, 650 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ 07928
    A few requests:
    1) Please do not park in the first row of parking spaces on the right as you enter the parking lot
    2) Please obey all posted parking signs and, especially, leave any handicapped spots open for those who may need them;
    3) Please do not lay down any rubber when leaving the parking lot!

    Ha- I'd take the job Kirk, but I hear the pay is bad and the hours awful :)

    What I need to know now is if there is a way to bribe John from High Marques to bring that beautiful 959 he has in his showroom- I was driving by last night and stopped to look through the store window (they were closed for the day)- the first time I have ever seen a 959 in person!

    As pathetic as this is, I once again missed a C&C despite my anticipation of attending after a hard couple of weeks of work!!

    I was getting ready to go to bed around midnight Friday and noticed a random bat flying in the house, which freaked out my wife and we were up until 3 AM trying to find it after I trapped it in a room. I had to wait for the exterminator to come Saturday morning- man what a let down! Did John bring the the 959? How was the rest of the turn out?

    I finally went yesterday and it was a very nice turnout. Yes the 959 was there and it was a beautiful car in great condition. Hope to make it again soon. :).

    Thanks! Doesn't help the pain though ;) I think we're busy for the next C&C so I'll have to wait until late August to see everyone again...

    It was weird actually seeing one in the flesh. There's such an aura about these cars. Super rare, ground-breaking tech, grey market in the US, and famous DOT hangups. The design has aged nicely.

    Part of fun of C&C is you never know what will show up. The PAIR of custom slammed VW clubcab pickups made the day for me. The 599 GTO parked next to the 34 Packard Super Eight was also a nice juxtaposition.
