Yes. As soon as the photos leaked that it was going to be sold as a convertible and not only a as coupe, I got myself in line. If it was only a coupe I would not be interested.
Educate me. What manufacturer invented the communicator valves? Did GM buy that car to dismantle it, too?
So this was the reason I didn't like the C7 corvette. To me anything above 3500 was meaningless. It was just all noise but no real power surge like 2 cam cars I had driven for years. It seemed to me the car would go faster if you short shifted trying to hit that sweet spot. I don't get that same feeling with the C8 because, being mid engine, the headers, the new intake, and exhaust let it breath better. But it doesn't have that power surge like the 458. It seems more even and less "peaky". When you floor the 458 to the redline, it just seems to keep powering on the power all the way. Looks like the Z06 should deliver power over a wider band like the 458 does.
I posted this a few pages back. I have no intention of tracking the car so I don't see the value of the Z07 for my purpose. I think dealers with allocation will start taking firm orders and deposits in late March. But no one really knows. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’m not sure if I plan on tracking it either (although, likely) but the carbon wheels are a 100% must. So Z07 pack it is.
I plan on using it as a DD. I think scrapping one CF wheel means replacing the whole thing. As much as I like the idea of less unsprung weight, I'm not sure its worth it for driving on city streets.
They’re so cool. You only living once. They elevate the coolness and specialness of the car considerably. the solution I have for you, don’t scrape your wheels lol.
I can wheel a kart with the best of them, and I've spent some time on track in cars, but for the love of God I'm a disaster when it comes to parking cars. I curb & scar the wheels on my cars as part of the break-in procedure. Mr. Magoo could do a better job.
That pic looks nice and I like the stripes. If you have not seen Hypersonic Gray in person, you may want to find one. That is still one of my potential colors, but some people see a green tint to it. Without even asking my wife, said she thought it looked a little green when we saw one. I'm leaning towards Silver Flare or Artic White.
I have blade silver now so I would want something different. And I think a bit more sporty given its nature.
I have a silver flare c8. Pictures do not do it justice. In some photos it looks white. Must be seen in person. Picks up shades from surrounding colors. Blue,gold.....
Silver Flare's the color my wife wants when we order a zo6. I was thinking white with red calipers, but the silver looks like a great alternative. Black wheels, red calipers and a black or tan interior would look very nice with silver.

What's impressive with the 458 engine is Ferrari actually designed it probably in 2006. It took Chevy 15 years to make something as good.

I have seen both colors in person and personally I prefer Blade Silver, but it is mute point as they don't make it anymore. If your want silver, it has to be Silver Flare which also looks good.
