Hi, I just bought a 2001 456 out of Riverside CA. the car is TDF blue with Tan leather and 40,000 miles, the carfax shows that the service was done pretty well on the car. Does anyone know who the car was owned by so I can call him and find out about any mechanical issues that he may have had, or what kind of repair work was done? I can not imagine that there are to many 40K mile 456's out of CA... I am getting out of a Porsche twin turbo and a bit concerned about some of the service issues these cars seem to have. tough to respond: do you have a vin or serial number actually just got a CA 1995 @ 27K miles, so not sure about your 40k 2001 mention. didn't you talk to dealer and get owner's connection: if not, call dealer and ask...know you are hoping for a response here, but might not go that easy.
Of course I have the Vin silly, why bother asking the dealer? All he is going to do is lie, thats what dealers do. I just thought that someone in this great chat may know who owned the car... Thanks, Sam
