I am going to sell my FIAT DINO Spider and the car may be going out of state, I have the personalized plate DINO V6 on it, if anyone wants it AND if it can be done to transfer it, let me know. (I don't know what it takes to transfer it without the car, if its even possible)

I am not asking for money, free, just thought some Dino owners would like it.

Of course this is only valid if the car is sold out of state and if its a Calif. owner the new owner does not want the plate.

Mike that is a really nice offer you are making. May I suggest that you make sure that the new owner has a Dino so that the plate can be used. A few years back I posted a few cool Dino URL's that were available. Within minutes someone bought them and they have been parked unused since. It would be nice to see your plate go to someone who really wants it rather than a hoarder.

A good thing to do before you sell it is re-register it with normal plates then keep the vanity plates on retension. You can then transfer the plates to someone else with a special transfer document from the DMV.

    Mike,

    That plate would be great!

I got an Historical Vehicle plate for mine back before the '75 and earlier cars were smog exempt, but yours would be way better.

Please keep me in mind if the car goes out of state.
