Hi, My Mondial cabrio top is in pretty good shape but the headliner is disintegrating, Every time I close it there is a mess of yellow sand either from the headliner or from something in between.

Does anyone know of a chemical to stop this or an easy fix.
    Thanks, Dave

It looks like sand but is probably the remains of the foam that once attached the headliner material. Not really anything to do but remove and replace headliner with new.

The foam is usually part of the fabric. You can't reglue it, it's shot.

I have a similar problem with "sand" blowing about with the top down and believe it to be the carpet on the rear seat/shelf rather than the top as mine is new. Really annoying as it gets in your eyes. Anyone else have this problem?
