Anyone know a good way to replicate the Cad look? I thought there was a thread where someone painted there calipers to get the yellowish look of cad plating but I can not seem to find it. My fuel lines from the fuel distributor (83 308gts) have lost all of the plating and are starting to rust. I just painted them with a yellow anodized paint. They look ten times better than the rust but they are just too yellow.

I understand replating would be the way to go but I have heard that the plastic fuel lines are hard to come by and difficult to replace. Anyone have any exprience with this? Cost, PITA factor?

    Thanks
    Bill

Zink plating maybe what I am looking for? I really do not want to replate if I can find some kind of paint that will replicate the look and protect the fuel lines.

Note a clue on paint, the previous owner had them replated (zinc).
