Hello all, Weather predictions for this coming Saturday just continue to get worse and worse. We are now moving the event to the rain date of Saturday, March 31st. The silver lining is that I am REOPENING registration and can take new entrants through noon on Monday, March 24th. Simply email me at [email protected] with your name/year/make/model/exterior/interior. We hope you can join us on the new date! Kevin Fielden CAFE - Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts
Just a reminder that I can take new entrants through tomorrow, March 26th at noon! [email protected] Thanks! - Kevin
The show is ON for Saturday. Predictions have averaged in the 30% range and local forecasters are already speaking toward improving conditions just this morning.
Fantastic! I'll be there taking photos of all the great automobiles and motorbikes and will post them for everyone to view after the event...
This was a BLAST! Certainly a lot of Ferraris, a lot of Lamborghinis, etc. Here are my photos on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3440486062193.2147348.1571797340&type=1&l=437faeac45 And my son Brian took much better photos than mine, since he is an artist and has a very nice camera, check out these if you have time: https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.10100572935834000.2564024.20906971&type=1
I imagine you'all have seen plenty of Ferrari photos, so for now here are a few non F car shots, with a shot of the FF and California from Foreign Cars Italia. Looks like it must have been nice weather! I drove all the way to the Outer Banks in rain...the cloud must have been following me! Sorry I missed it - looking forward to the Fall show.
We drove two hours through the rain to get there, but the weather was perfect when the show started and we had a great time. Thanks to Kevin and the others who put it on.
Agreed. I was worried coming over from east Raleigh, really sloppy weather. But it turned out to be pretty good (even some sun)!. Great event. Looking forward to next year.
Did anyone photograph the motorcycles or the alfas ? I saw there was guite a grouping of both! Looks like Kevin did another nice job!
I must admit that I was quite concerned with the weather. My two hour drive was hazardous to say the least, and when I arrived to setup at 9:30, the ground was saturated. But, by the time the show started, weather was perfect. Great show and good call Kevin, on continuing with the plans, despite chances of rain. The Roman gods truly smiled upon us!

Hey Gang, Well, it has certainly been a crazy couple of weeks but another show is now in the books. Even with an apprehensive start to our rain date, the weather finally broke around mid-morning and the entries began to roll in! We ended up with around 90 total vehicles on display which is significant bump from previous years. There is no doubt that we're continuing to grow this event year to year! 131 Main once again served as a great host location. Some of you are already regular customers. If you'd never been before, I'll bet you now have a favorite new restaurant! Special recognition goes out to all the volunteers who helped make the day such a success: Kerry Beach, Brian & Del Caughman, Matt Cook, and Christopher Griffin. Jim Calandro with the Desmo Club has done a tremendous job growing the motorcycle participants and lead that area throughout the day. Also, a big thanks to all our vendors who add so much extra to the event: Foreign Cars Italia, Lamborghini Carolinas, Adrian Madison (Artist), Dan McCrary (Artist), Outland Cigar, and Jeff Trepel (Vintage Automotive Literature). Jarod and Jean with Automotive International once again hosted a great "after party" with burgers, brats, dogs and all the trimmings along with some sudsy beverages - the perfect way to wrap up the day! If anyone did not get a chance to purchase their official Motori Italiani merchandise at the event, I do have some items remaining. $15 T-Shirts $15 Caps $35 Polo Shirts $45 Golf Windshirts Send me an email if you'd like to place an order.
