Our next gathering will be this coming Saturday (7/31).

    - Tour Lowe's Motor Speedway (Concord)
    - Go for Lunch
    - Fun Run

Lowe's asks that we arrive at Speedway by 10:00 - our tour is at 10:45. ($5 per person)

Right after, we'll go down the boulevard to "Hooters" for lunch.
(They are willing to block off parking for us).

Spirited drive after lunch - (any route suggestions?) If you can't make the tour but can join us for lunch, try to arrive at "Hooters" around noon.

Better Check the forecast Daniel hahahaha

Sounds like fun...... to bad you don't get to go out on the road course(infield) and play for a bit. Seems like you could convince them to let you run around for an hour or so. How often do they get a group of ferrari's?

See what weekend those guys want to do a fall/leaf tour. I'm pretty flexible, and David (348challenge) is looking into his books.

Last year after the NA$CAR season ended, they had a souveiner blow out sale at LMS. For every $50 you spent at the trailer(s) you got like 2 or 3 laps out on the track in your POV. I missed it, but the people I know who went said it was awesome! I will not miss it this year!!

That is cool! Do you know when this happens? If so let us know on the board. I'm not a circle track fan, but I love driving....even better at speed!

I want to say it was in November but that seems wrong. I will find out and let everyone know for sure. It would be so cool to see a bunch of Ferrari's fly around the track.

Don't forget we have two "local" track events coming up... we have the Talladega roadcourse on Sept 4, and we have Savannah's Roebling Road Oct 28-30. Details and links to sign up are at

I'm interested in meeting up with you guys...but I have one question. What if I don't have a Ferrari, would it be ok to drive my '94 300zx Twin Turbo? It's red...maybe someone will mistake it for a Ferrari..haha :)

Hopefully in a few months I'll have a 308 to drive around. Now that would be awesome.

Can't speak for the group - but it's an enthusiasts club, not an owners club. Show up, just don't put any Ferrari shields on the fenders.

Any good roads to travel? I can't imagine, after driving the parkway, 215, 178, and 276. Asheville to Mt. Pisgah to Brevard and back several times.

You have to drive that sometimes. It beautiful, that is, the beautiful noise of the freekin screaming unleased unmufled Ferrari V8 near redline...reverberating off the granite face of the mountainside!

Hey guys- I hope to meet up with the group this weekend also if it's ok (non-owner like Zach). I live nearby, there aren't really any good roads around the area, 485 is good for speed, but there are usually a lot of police on it. Could always just take 85 down to Greensboro and check out the F50 and CGT at Foreign Cars Italia (75 miles from Speedway Blvd if I'm remembering correctly). Also, Daniel, I go by the speedway/Hooters daily so if you need me to stop by either ahead of time (noticed you're in Winston-Salem) let me know.

Hope to see you all Saturday!

No, unfortunately I didn't make it out to Bermuda. But, if you're wondering exactly what my car is like, you can check it out on my website:

That car is sweet man, the one that showed at the Bermuda Run was an auto, unfortunately.

I seriously dig your car though, very clean!

Looks very good man, I believe the other one at Bermuda was an earlier model because it had the lower spoiler unlike yours that has the raised version. Very nice stance! :)

Travis - Weather permitting, I'll probably head down that direction via US52 to I-85.

I'm still stuggling to find any decent roads in Concord for our drive. For the amount of time it'd take to shoot over to Uwharrie forest, we might as well head north to the Piedmont. I'm sure the CAFE group doesn't want to drive that far, so it might just end up as a parade lap around Lake Norman or something silly.

Some pictures from the CAFE event. Let's hope Mrs. Jack Russell Racing doesn't see these!
