I presume that the monthly "Caffeine & Octane" breakfast gathering will take place in East Cobb tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 11. I don't thing the fact that it's a holiday weekend and the earliness in the month should make a difference. (Yes, it is July tomorrow!) Panera Bread is within walking distance.

So come on down to The Avenue East Cobb on Roswell Road (the east-west variety) and take a look. We've had F430s, Murcielagos and Ghiblis at this event in the past, so who knows who's going to show up? Y'all come!

Wow! What an event! I understand that the Cobb section of the AJC had an article on the monthly show, which is why some sixty cars made it to The Avenue this morning!

Not a lot of Italian exotics--my 328 and a grey Gallardo I had seen on the street several weeks earlier--but some interesting cars nonetheless, including:
    --a Morgan Super Sports 3-wheeler
--a couple of Ford Model A's
    --a 1950 Packard
    --1958 and 1960 Cadillacs
--a Corvair Corsa and an Avanti II
    --a Shelby Series 1
--a gorgeous Alfa Spider "boat tail" and a couple of other Alfas
--several nice Porsche 356s and the usual bunch of 911s
--several Cobras, including one with a Cobra Jet 429
--scads of Mustangs, from early GT 350s to a current Saleen
--scads of Corvettes, from early '60s to a current Z06
--and plenty of traditional muscle cars: GTOs, Malibu and Camaro SSs, a nice Challenger, and more.

Photos will be posted mid-week (if not delayed by the holiday).
