The monthly "Caffeine & Octane" breakfast-time gathering will take place on Saturday, July 7th from 8:30 AM to 11 AM at The Avenue East Cobb on Roswell Road (the "east-west" one) just east of Johnson Ferry Road.

This is a fun event with all manner of cars, from Model A Fords and muscle cars to modern Ferraris and Lamborghinis. And Panera Bread Company is within walking distance. Y'all come!

    Hi Jim,
I live about 2 miles from there and will stop by. I've got a modern Mini, but am a big Ferrari fan. One of the guys from my neighborhood will likely be there too - he has a white Model T (very early brass car), a black Model A and a nice early Studebaker Avanti, so I hope he makes it! Will you be there?

I hope the Model T shows; Model A's and Avantis have appeared there, but I can't remember a T. I'll be there even if it means missing live F1 qualifying. (I'll watch the replay at 12:30.)

Considering the steady light drizzle for the first hour or so, attendance was quite good, with 6 nations represented and a wide variety of cars. Since I was last there, they have relocated from the west lot to the east lot, which has a good deal more space. The only disadvantage is a longer walk to Panera Bread, which didn't seem to bother anyone.

Here is the first set of pics, which even includes a hearse. The Mugen-powered "old" Mini was quite something, truly a "wolf in sheep's clothing". And the "Charleston edition" 2CV was the most luxurious example of the type I've yet seen.

Fantastic Early Speedster with the extreemly rare hard top option... the factory only made those for the Covertible D and Drauz Roadsters.... like only 1500 or less original ones in the world. If that speedster is original... and it has Drauz plates ... that is worth a cool... quarter Mill... easily... more for all matching numbers... all that for a 4cyl pushrod car!
