This was my third time at this run which is one of my favorite car runs. There were over 150 F cars. All the major intersection between Calabasas and PCH are blocked off by the the CHP, LASD or LAPD. This year we ended up at the Air National Guard base on the coast near Pt Mugu. It was cool coming thru the entrance to base past the armed military check point. Everyone seemed to have made it this year, not counting the one car that crapped out 100 yards from the parking area at the base. All though there are very few older cars it is still amazing to see row after row after row of every variation of every F car made in the last 20 years. I hope you like the pics this my first time uploading. They start at the meeting spot in Calabasas and end as we passed the Rock Store. My batterty died after that.

These look great - I am going to have to mark my calendar for next year to do this. Was a bit late in getting my car for this year but this looks absolutely fantastic.

Great pix - thanks for sharing.

    Cheers

wow awesome turnout. who organized this? I ask because I do the Poker Run in Dallas and 26 cars is our max so far. Any entry fees? Any stops along the way or activities at the end? What gets that many to show up? Well it is LA!

    Stuart,
    Great Pix,
You even managed to get the front end of my Fiorano in there.
I would concur, absolutely incredible drive today. Kind of felt like Europe in Malibu with folks standing on the curbs waving as you zoom by. And, doing 100 mph on PCH with the CHP waving you bye-bye... it just doesn't get any better than that!
What are you doing next Sunday...

I caught some 15-20 Ferraris in about 10 minutes on PCH between Malibu and Kanan Dume, figured something was up as that was a lot even for a Malibu Sunday. Awesome!

It was a great day and for person that asked for details about the event here are my thoughts. The event is sponsored by the local chapter of the Ferrari Owners Club. This is the 8th year so it has a great deal of positive word of mouth. There are a number of things that make this event unique and probably the largest all Ferrari "driving" event (they did allow a few other Italian 2nd tier brands to hang-out). The setting, which starts in Calabasas and through the Santa Monica mountains, then to Pacific Coast Highway and ends at the beach, is second to none. The Police escort is really the most unbelievable part of the event. Every childhood fantasy of blowing by the CHP at double the speed limit and them giving you a thumbs up is fulfilled. Most of all it is simple, you pay ($40 each or $60 couple), you line up by model, drive like hell for an 1 1/2 hours, arrive at your destination, eat and hang-out and go home. As far as attending next year you need to join the FOC and it is really an inexpensive way to support the hobby and you are on their mailing list. Call or fax 818-368-0096 for info. Scott, I am always available for a cruise.

    Nice pics!
With CHP there, I thought it was going to be a Ferrari 30mph cruise?
    Was it?

No way, we all had a free pass from Calabasas to PCH. The only real limits were the number of cars, we would tend to bunch up from time to time and come to a stop and then it was balls out after that.
