Yes, a bunch of us Lotus Elise owners have been there the last few weekends. Great layout. Super scenery. Ups and downs and long. The armco reminds me of the Glen - if thats an issue. A bit narrow for passing. A long drive from TO. I'd go back in a flash.
Does the guy that owns the track have a pair of Porsche GT3's? A road car and a 'cup' car for HIS track? ch
I know that one man who helped fund it has a black MKII GT3 with brembo floating rotors in the front.

Dude, I suggest you go a few times first to feel things out. Then enter a couple of track days where you can be seated along side an instructor. Join the BMW Canada club as I am sure you know. LOL. No I wouldn't go flying around on my first try (except maybeeeeee into a wall...). But that is precisely what I was getting at: joining BMWCC and getting some seat time + lessons. It's not somethine to be taken too lightly or the consequences can be quite hefty.
Seriously, my friend, do yourself a favour and go to a real racing school where you are taught by professionals, not buy car club volunteers. Big difference, brother, and worth every single freaking penny. Bridgestone and Jim Russell are great places to start.

Cool stuff B-Mak, I have an older E36 328i. Pops has the E46 330Ci but I'm not touching that. I pushed for a M3 so bad but there was no hope ... It would have been SMG anyways I'll drop you a line when I'm serious about it. I don't think winter is an ideal time to look into these things , except finding out general informaiton ofcourse. I know a lot of the M guys from e46Toronto go tracking frequently in the summer, hopefully we'll set something up. Cheers! PS. What is 416?

Holy Sh! t... Now that you guys mention it, My buddy had an 01 325 ci, the rear subframe did collapse on him!! I just remembered, it is true! Although he bought it used, Maranello BMW had it for 2 weeks and had to fix it for free.
