    I found a reputable shop in Houston (Houston Car Stereo) who is willing to do the head unit upgrade on my 2012 Cali30. Just dropped it off this weekend, so I’ll let you guys know how it goes. Here are the highlights:

    Alpine iLX-107 head unit (supports wireless Apple Carplay!)
    Focal 165 FX component speakers
    JL Audio 10TW3 subwoofer
    JL Audio XD 500/3 amplifier

    I’ll take some pics/videos and give an update on the sound quality once it’s done!

    They do good work. They did some work on my Lamborghini’s system. Please share the results when you have them.

    I’m taking delivery of 12 Cali this week and will be looking to upgrade the audio system. Could possibly share what you were quoted for the install? Also where and how are they adding / mounting the sub?

    How did it go?

    I’m really interested in the integration. Do you see turn by turn directions in the TFT still?
    What about the steering wheel buttons?

    I’m speculating that the ISO kits for Fiat or a Dodge Durango should be compatible with the Cali. Would be great with a confirmation!

    Was it hard to get the old stereo out?

    Any pics of the stereo in place?

    Got the car back today. Things turned out nicely! I’m still tuning it and getting to know the new head unit, but so far so good. The steering wheel controls still work for volume and skipping tracks. The wireless CarPlay integration is really slick. Here’s a pic of the head unit installed.

    That looks way better! I'm sure the sound quality is much better as well!

    Looks great!! Can’t believe the local installer here in central FL quoted me 9K to do the same + backup camera, Where did the mount the Sub and Amps?
