Hello everyone I drive a 2010 Cali and am currently having the following problem. 1. The car no longer starts. 2. The battery was charged without being unplugged. 3. When I try to start the car, an error message appears on the display that I can't find anywhere? All of these things work on level 2 ignition: radio, air conditioning, windows, locking and connecting the car with the key. However, it doesn't work to start the car. Not even with a very strong 60,000 MaH start jumper Do I have to adjust something or otherwise recover before the car starts ignition? Bridging with another car is also not possible. This error also appears on the display and the ignition process cannot be started. *A new battery will be installed next week, but I find it strange that ignition is not possible. Thank you in advance. Attached is the image with the error message Kind regards❤️ Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car won't start with the battery charger still connected/powered. It's a safety feature to stop you driving off with the charger still connected. Well, at least that's what I think it is. It looks similar to the symbol on the 360/430. F430 symbol: Image Unavailable, Please Login
MATE YOURE RIGHT. Fu** im stupid. It was not connected to electricity but on the car and that was the problem. It works! Thank you very much❤️ PROBLEM SOLVED! Thank you kind regards
Thanks. I wasn't sure about that part. The start inhibit on the F430 involves the charger sending a voltage to a relay coil which inhibits the starter, so I assumed the California was the same. On the up side, you didn't damage anything. I've driven away with my charger plugged in (on a car without this feature)
