For a moment, the gear numbers went blank on the screen. The little up arrow lit up and the car shifted fine. I put in in neutral and it reverted back to normal. Also, does anybody else's fan direction knob lights go out or do they stay continuously lit? Mine go out and I rotate the knob to check and see that it is where I want it.

    TIA

I hate to say it but it sounds like that electrical problem may not be completely resolved. I'm not sure if the systems are integrated but maybe it's related somehow...

I have noticed some of that with the fan knob lights but assumed it was because of the sun that I just couldn't see it properly, as with the nav/stereo screen sometimes...hope it's not something more...

It's normal for the lights to be off when you have the system on auto, in which case you would see only the auto light and the one on the temperature knob. if you change the fan speed for example, the light on the fan control should come on and the auto light goes off. As you change other things their lights would come on as well to indicate their position or settings.

That actually makes good sense. Someone RTFM! Good for you...My daughter likes that lock/unlock is one simple push, without having to look for the unlocked/locked icon and push the right one...she has real trouble with that in the Chevy!

The directional air flow knob lights go out after a period of time. I rarely use auto. They come back on when I adjust them, but I must adjust them to see what they are set on. Why in the world would these lights need to extinguish?

That is definitely strange... Have you brought this up to the dealer yet? It might be related to the past electrical issue somehow

Probably because Ferrari has a history of melting/warping plastics in their other cars with constantly illuminated lights. Very common problem on 348/355 so it kind of makes sense. Got to be ECO too hey? ;)

Yea, I thought that too but these are LEDs and don't produce any heat... or burn out for that matter.
