My cali is ready to leave the factory early next week. Taking advantage of the $3K fly in, so dealer says I will have it before month end. That's great news since the weather in Houston is getting just right for top down driving. Quick build and delivery seeing as I ordered on Jan. 24th and should be in the driver's seat by April 1st.

Sweet. Mine is due in too. My dealer told me "this month." I did not spring for air freight so I doubt it will be March if yours is coming in April 1st. Whatever. It will be sweet whenever it arrives!! Remember to post pics.
    What color did you get?

Color is TDF. I did get to spec. it. Dealer had a March buildout that I was able to option out. 3 days later and I would not have been able to. That is why I sold my other Cali since that one was a dealer spec and I wanted some of the newer options like carbon fibre. Here is what I ordered:

    Exterior
TDF Blue, 20 " wheels, Alum. colored Calipers, Carbon-Fibre on rear trunk, NO Shields. Magneride, adaptive headlights and front parking sensors.

    Interior
Full electric beige daytona seats with blu scuro inserts. Contrast stitching, dash, steering wheel, windshield arch and carpets in Blu Scuro.
Carbon-fibre on air vents, radio trim (radio will have black face and buttons) and bridge on console. Carbon Fibre steering wheel with LED's.
Cruise, Homelink, I-Pod connect, driver and passenger alum. foot-rest, yellow tach.
I also went with the rear shelf instead of the rear seats.

Not such a big deal having two. I sold the first one for $2K under what I paid for it. Did an in and out thru the dealer to save the tax money on the new one. So loss on the old one only cost me $2.1K and I got to drive it for 1200 miles. now let's not do the cost per mile story or it still looks bad.

Make sure they activate your year satellite subscription and watch the rear license plate bracket, if not correctly installed with modifications, it will scratch the trunk lid behind it!
Please post pictures when you get it! Congratulations!!!!!

Have to wait till Tuesady as the clear bra installer order the fenders pieces with the badges. He had to re-order the fender material and will not be in till Monday. So I will pick-up on Tuesday. Went to the dealer to see it and I love it. The carbon fiber rear and bridge really look great.First one the dealer got with the carbon fiber center bridge and they were all amazed at how good it looked. A little mad but that was fixed because my Porsche Panamera Turbo was delivered to me on Friday. Love it too.

I did not put a clear bra on my Cali. And recently got its first stone chip, way above where the bra would have stopped. I bought a kit from DrColorChip.com and you can not tell it was chipped.

Some put the clear bra on the entire front end. I even saw a 599 with it extending halfway on the roof. I don't know which is better, having the little line where it ends, or just having the entire front swathed in it. The little line is noticable, but I would rather that than have a paint chip. Rick, by any chance, do you have before and after pics of the chip? What about just after pics? I will cry the first time I see a chip.

It might be hard to see a few chips that have been touched up but after you get enough of them they'll definitely be an eyesore, especially with metalic paints.

I put the clear bra on the whole front bumper, entire hood & front fenders, mirrors, rocker panels and a small section behind the rear wheels. It was installed really well! You can't even tell it's there. It's Venture Shield, I believe. I was a little hesitant at first but after seeing it on the car, I would recommend it highly. You can enjoy driving and not worry about it.

Pick it up today and it is very nice. I also had a complete clear bra wrap of the front bumper, fenders, rockers, headlights and mirrors done. The hood is only a 30 piece for now as I went with the new nano coated film by Avery Dennison. The 58 inch wide material will not be available for another month to do an complete wrap on the hood. It is crystal clear and with the edges wraped around you do not see it at all. Was not a big fan myself till I made a trip to Sedona last year in my 2 week old Mercedes SL63. When I got back from that trip the front end looked liked it had been sandblasted. Now I don't have the worries. When the clear bra gets bad enough, pull it and replace it. Will post some pictures tomorrow.

No pictures, I may take some if I can find the spot again. www.drcolorchip.com works quite well. I forgot to mention a chip in the middle of the driver's door too. Not a door ding, but a stone chip. Filled that one too. I used this stuff on my son's Mini Cooper and it totally disappears after a couple applications. It takes a couple applications to fill a chip down to the primer.
