So I keep getting these failures. Not every time I drive the car but about 50% of the time. I’ve heard several remedies for this and have put a new battery, alternator and voltage regulator, but am still getting the failures. Does anyone know what else i can do that the dealer can’t seem to figure out? (I’ve heard it could be a bad brake sensor…)

I replaced the brake light switch on my 458 down by the pedal. That solved it.

Not sure if the Cali is the same. Basically the switch wears over the years and then when you use the pedal it does not make “perfect” electrical contact. This then throws the error you speak of due to a voltage drop on the poor connection. It could also be a faulty ABS sensor cable at the wheel. Those seem to be the two main causes of this error, if the car is still running fine after.

The part cost me like 50 bucks I think from scuderia parts in the uk.

I had the same error messages plus ABS, ESC etc. The dealer cleared all the error messages and recharged my battery (it is only a month old) and this resolved the error messages plus I was told to use the battery tender all the time regardless of how much I drive it.

Have driven my car several times since this post and haven't seen any of the error codes come up. I'm still thinking about taking to the dealer again to check the brake switch.

Keep the battery tender on it atleast once a week overnite or all the time and buy a obd tool and you can clear the codes .. I had many codes onmy cali with zero real issues and basically that was a suggestion my mech gave me and it works and i drive it nearly every day
