Ok, most Ferraris are red for aggressive racing reasons. But a few other colors work well with fast dreamy art forms. Your metallic California blue w/ a cream interior looks amazing & shows off subtle angles & scoops much better than red. Just my professional opinion as a working artist for over 25 years.

I've seen a couple of blu chiaro 328's as well, and the color is surprisingly (in a sea of red...) gorgeous.

But the azzurro (sp?) is the lighter blue, on the 360 and Mondial above. Haven't seen that in person. I like it on the 360 photo, but you'd have to buy it because you love it -- not for quick resale.

????? No, most Ferraris are red because red it the national racing color of Italy. As the national racing color of England is Green (British racing green) most old Jags, Astons and Lotus' were green. Every wonder why all those old Mercs and Audis running around the track were always silver? Well, drum roll please... Germany's official racing color is silver. And the U.S.? Blue and white.

Ok, & I know the 2nd GTO, 3387, was blue. No one will argue that red is an angry color. And yellow & orange are recurrent in designs to make you hungry as do the logos for Burger King, the Big Mac, Krystal, Hardies, etc.

imo it works best with a 360 with challenge grill, other cars it just looks odd and out of place...the smooth lines of the 360 are what makes it work i think...

Right on! I love azzurro on a 360 with challenge grille, especially spider. I think it looks great on the TR too though.

Ferrari of Orange County has a California Azzuro blue 360 spyder with tan interior -- it's INCREDIBLE. If it were a 6-speed, I would have bought it...but it's F1.

WOW WOW WOW, never saw it on a 575, really suits it too, but i think its also because of the smooth lines....
