    No matter what color I see it in ,the side view,in particular,
    is just blah. A corvette looks better and more aggressive.
    I guess Ferrari wanted amore generic looking car or not as
    exotic for new markets or older drivers? Don't know but I
    hope the 430 replacement looks better,but judging from a
    pic in Automobile magazine,the jury is out.

    the profile shot isnt bad.

    i really have to think hard about the automotive philosophy of the old California's to appreciate this car.

    I think that the front and side views are okay - just okay - but I just can't accept the rear view, no matter what color it is.

    Maybe if the photos (as posted) didn't have quite so much contrast, the yellow would be softer - ala, a true "giallo modena". I get the feeling that many of our posters are more critical of the shape, than they are of the color.
