    Hi,

I have downloaded the 248 page Owner's Manual, but cannot find a single mention of the Hi-Fi or Navigation system.

Is there another manual for that?

Anyone know where I can download it?

    Thanks.

Separate documents and not possible until someone sends them to Ben Deetman, who runs the Ferrari Database. I have sent him some manuals now on the site, so if someone wants to scan the nav and stereo manuals, I am sure he would post them.

Do you have the hard copies?

I won't have them until July. I would be great to read them to know how exactly the Hi-Fi works, mainly because I want to know for sure that I will be OK without the iPod connection (my California is on order).

I don't really want an iPod connection because 1) it costs and 2) I wouldn't want an iPod rattling around and taking up space in the glovebox.

30GB of storage should be fine for me. I know that the Hi-Fi can rip any CD to the hard drive. BUT I don't want that. I have already ripped my entire CD collection over the past few years. So I want to just transfer the files to the HDD.

I understand that there is a USB connection, so I assume that I can transfer them via this.

I have also heard that I can connect a USB memory card and play the audio files from that. If that is the case then I can get 64GB storage (plus 30GB?).

I would also like to know if it can play WMA or AAC files as well as MP3's.

So it would be good to read the manual so I can know for sure...

Its even worse as your car has the same air in its tyres and in its engine as the cheapest car on the road and they haven't even paid for it !

From a 2009 article in the New York Times:

“The head unit for the stereo and navigation system is straight out of a Chrysler minivan.” That’s damning, but not really true. Yes, the Chrysler MyGIG infotainment system is similar, but Chrysler did not develop it; a Canadian company, QNX, did. The Ferrari uses a unit made by Harman/Becker, a QNX affiliate. Regardless, it is a high-quality unit.
