Base Retail is 192,000. Gas Guzzler estimated at 3,000. Transportation is 2,000. Dealer Prep is 350.
So, Full Retail Price before options is $197,350.
The option list is quite long and several of them are listed as unavailable. If you are into carbon fiber, Daytona seats, and other stuff it won't be hard to spend another 20,000.

The pricing came from a Ferrari salesman who got it from a recent letter to all US Ferrari dealers.

That's cheap! The Japan price is 250k out the door with no options (motorized seats and Scuderia shields were optional...) Specced mine and easily added another 25k.

Just curious, are parking sensors an available option in the US? It is not in Japan, and parking is quite a bit tighter here, so I am quite disappointed. Also seems like it would be a difficult option to retrofit. the F430's have this option on their list, so it's not a technology issue...

Don't forget the "Maserati look-a-like depreciation factor", give it a couple of months. These things will be falling in price with exuberante overabundance.

In the US, front parking sensors are on the option list but not currently available. I think the rear ones are standard, but I am not sure. A rear parking camera is on the list too but also not currently available.

Much though we like to slate the Cali for not being a proper Ferrari, that price of $200k is very competitive when you consider the price of a Scud at circa $300k... And let's face it - you are never going to get $100k extra performance out of a Scud on a public road. Soon the Scud/430 will be replaced by a new model which, based on all the intel we currently have, will be significantly more expensive. So... is the Cali a Ferrari bargain?!!

My gut tells me it should have been priced such that a car with popular options would be under 200K. It is supposed to be a volume model (by Ferrari standards) and as such I think more price sensitive than usual. There are also a lot of 430 spiders with very low mileage on the market in the same price range. Might have an impact, I'm not sure. No doubt there are a certain number of buyers who will want to be "first on the block" but after that, who buys?

'unavailable' options is a hell of a marketing strategy.

Price is reasonable considering the competition. Wonder if anybody will actually order a stripper? Dealers might. The great unwashed do not care about options as long as the basic car does most everything they need.

Usually the " unavailable options" become available in a few months once they gear up production. Ferrari is usually happy to do them because while they may slow down the production line a bit they have big profit margins on this stuff.

To date a lot of the options that are listed as "unavailable" on the configurator are coming on-line. So depending on the date your car goes into production, some if not most of the options will be available............even if it says "unavailable" now.

Does anyone know the details of the newly available option "Anti-stone chipping protection film"? Does it cover the whole car? What is the list price?

I recall my dealer telling me that it covers the front bumper, the front edge and few inches of the hood, and maybe the door mirrors. I wasn't interested so I didn't pay that much attention.

Wow, that is very good pricing indeed. If they fix that rear end design I am pretty sure people would be willing to pay $240k for one.

No I haven't used the protective film before. But a lot of people swear by it. Not sure what I should do. I already signed up for the magneride and I am thinking about upgrading the rims to the 20 inch, so my option list is getting pretty high. Need to keep my eye on the ball and not get too much stuff that I don't really need.

It depends on the dealer but if you get the mirrors done, the wheel well edges etc it will run about $1200 - well worth it - you can always take it off - dealer probably makes around $400 on it
