So I have had a system not programmed on my 2015 T since I bought it about a year ago. Car runs fantastic and replaced battery hoping that would be issue. Everything works great but about 25% of the time I notice the entry assist movement on the steering wheel does not work. I start car and shut door but it stays in the up position and wont come down even manually for about 1 minute, and then after that. I can move it down. As soon as I start it, I can move the wheel in an out but not up or down for 1 minute. The only other issue I have seen on any of the systems is the passenger seat the auto forward does not work when folding it up for back seat access.(drivers is perfect)

I am thinking it might need software update but was at Ferrari dealer in Hinsdale, IL, before I bought it for a recall for something that but don't remember what it was for; brake issue or something?. Im not sure if they just addressed the recall or if they hooked it up for update. The issue is I am literally about 400 miles away from nearest dealers in Houston or Atlanta (Im from South MS gulf coast) so getting software update will be challenging. The car does have larger Pioneer aftermarket carplay system that functions perfectly with camera and controls on steering wheel all functioning. I thought maybe that might be the cause of system not programmed error but it shows in sales photo that error was not on at some point when they took these pictures attached. THoughts and TIA

You should call the dealer. They have an outstanding service department

"System not programmed" means that the car sees something on the CANBUS* that it doesn't recognize. This could be a failing system, an additional system (like someone adding electric seats later, or your audio system), or just weird electrical influences. I second the answer to talk to your dealer. Given where you are, I'd actually suggest Boardwalk Ferrari in Dallas.

I saw that "system not programmed" error on mine for a couple of drives, making sure the battery was charged helped as did waiting for ALL the beeps to end before starting the car.

You might also get a scanner to see if there's any info in the system. I use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QD4GZW4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and an older iPad, but there are other options. I don't know if it will pick up the specific error you have.

*or if it's been superceded, whatever the inter-car computer communication network is called.

I can get "system not programmed" at will on my car. Just start it too fast before everything is booted up.

All I can tell you is its pioneer and works really well with carplay and android.....just like newer cars. I also have front and rear camera installed with it. Great for parking in the front as to not hit parking stop. Sound is really good with I think the base model speakers (I don't think I was spec'd with upgrade sound)

the system not programmed error could be due to the after market stereo. If the installer removed the can bus box that is used for the stock head unit, or disconnected that box, then you would get the system not programmed error because the can bus system is looking for a unit that is not available. The steering wheel not moving or responding to inputs is also on the can bus system. That is a different can bus box though. So it is also possible you have an issue with your can bus system or that can bus box. Issues like this are very common in cars that have had flood damage and now the corrosion is effecting the wiring. Did you get a full history of the car?
