So the LED driving lights all went out on my LH light. Dealer and research seems to indicate I have to replace the whole light. I'm wondering how hard the unit is to swap out. I'm also wondering if just changing the ballast might do the trick. Everything I find online seems to be about the 09-14 Cali's.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I would think the ballast would be for the xenon bulb, not the LED lights, but I certainly could be wrong.

Yeah the headlight is fine. It's the LED strip so I don't think the ballast will solve it. Both fuse and relay are good. Dealer quoted me $9750 to replace the headlight. That is NOT happening. I may just pull the relay for the other side. Instant LED delete.

$9,750 headlight lol! That is the most insane price I have heard in a while. How could the SA even look you in the eyes and tell you that quote.

The Ferrari dealership prices are just for people who want to feel good about the extended warranties they pay for. No-one in their right mind pays those prices.
They replace a $500 part, say it cost $15000, and it makes you glad you paid $7000 for that warranty...

He really couldn't, to be fair.

Yeah no doubt. They want it to be a "non-serviceable item". I'm ordering a replacement LED controller for $180. It should rectify the problem although I'll probably have to have the bumper pulled to replace the plug and play part. After the debacle of replacing a rear diff assembly (sealed unit, $12K), I probably won't go down the Ferrari road again. Yes I know it's an exotic etc, but compared to my R8 GT which is like a Swiss watch, I just find Ferrari's FU approach to its customer base testing my limits.
