Recently purchased a 2015 Cali T from a local Forum member. Never one to leave well enough alone, I have been scouring the Forum and interweb for ideas and recommendations. For starters, I have ordered Novitec springs, Novitec 664HP ECU and Hill spacers. Also have an extra Passport 9500ci on the bench that will probably be the first thing to be installed. The car came with the factory 20" Diamond Cut wheels and brand new PS 4's so I may just polish out the grey paint or have them powder coated hyper silver, just can't seem to love the factory grey Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Shout out to another local Forum member Dan "Whattheheck"
for some help and guidance. Thanks also to all the forum members for their postings!

Off with the bumper and in goes the factory HS Exhaust and Forza exhaust valve controller. Reseller sent non Cali T Forza controller but Forza owner, Steve B is coming through with the correct part, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Decided to stay with the factory 20" Forged wheels but have had them refinished in Ferrari silver with machine finished faces. Installing hopefully tonighr with Hill's spacers/ longer lug bolts from Ricambi.

Has anyone noticed a Novitec DIY for installing their springs?

Nice car and amazing garage. More pics of the others?

I have the full silver wheels on my Cali T and I think it is a much better look for that wheel. Interested to hear your impressions.

Keep us updated... you're giving me some new ideas!

Wheels refinished in Ferrari Silver with machined faces and Hill Spacers installed. REALLY need to install the Novitec coilovers springs, still looks like a Rallye car. There is absolutely no threads on the entire internet as a DIY on changing out the springs, hardly even a mention. I am coming to the conclusion that the Cali enthusiasts simply go to a shop for EVERYTHING.
Hopefully I will figure it out over the winter, raining sideways in Seattle and will be for a long time....

Novitec couldn't even tell me how much the springs would lower my car.

Novitec makes good stuff but their communication (at least in English) is not the best. Since all our Ferrari's have coilover suspension from the factory, YOU determine how low you want to go based upon where you (or your mechanic) sets the adjustable spring perch, the stop is the lower threaded part of the shock itself.
I have been a car enthusiast for over 40 years and I have come to the realization that most Ferrari owners do not DIY anything, so there is little content on the web.

Adjustable spring perches come with the Magneride option, but not with the base suspension. However, the base suspension can be adjusted as outlined in my thread Lowering A Portofino.

Thanks Slim, did not know that. My Cali and 360 had coilover style perches so I just assumed......my bad :)

    Great project @Dryfly
Would love to see pictures of the finished car and thoughts on the Novitech ECU. I assume its the plug-in mod rather than a reflash?
