    Hi All,
Looking for suggestions. The radio in my 2015 California T is not repairable (according to Ferrari of NE and Becker Auto sound in NJ. The radio turns on and shuts off within 15 seconds. They said I need a new radio at the tune of 10K. Anyone had this problem or has anyone replaced the radio; if so, what do you recommend?

I suppose the first step would be to see if you can get the radio out of a wrecked California T (it may be the same radio in the FF, F12, etc. too) or find a used one for sale from someone who upgraded ... the second option would be to explore aftermarket radio options, you can probably get a better more updated unit for considerably less, assuming you can avoid the typical Ferrari tax. There's a place in Newton that FoNE recommended to me and it is usually littered with exotics ... however, when I called them to ask about putting an upgraded head unit in a 911, that quote was about half of what they wanted to put one in a Ferrari so ... ;)

Third option would be to find someone local who's good at tinkering with electronics, pull the radio and see if they can figure out what the problem is and repair it. It has to be fixable somehow.

The final option would be to say screw the radio and listen to your engine instead ... and use Waze on your phone for navigation.

I probably wouldn't use the dealer to pull the radio, but you might ask Tony at Autohaus of Boston (in Braintree) what he might charge, he is the former master tech at FoNE. He may know someone who can at least try to get it working, as well.

I have the same problem with my radio goes in and out every 20 seconds I found a place that sells the motherboard $90 in China but I need to know how to get the radio out if you have any information to share please do thank you
They also said they can repair it for $900
If it works I’d pay the 900 if it doesn’t no pay
