Another color question for you guys, I have gone back and forth on exterior/interior color, and after a few changes I have decided to go with my original thought of Grigio Titanio with Black Daytona seats. Now I am wondering on what color of calipers to go with, yellow is what I have requested now, but I am also thinking silver, or black, any thoughts. I am getting the 20 inch Diamond forged rims, if that makes a difference. Thanks

I would absolutely go for black. Looks great with the diamond rims.

    * The silver won't match and detracts from the wheels
    * Red has no business on that car
    * I love yellow in concept, but for me it's a dealbreaker that it doesn't match the shields. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Definitely yellow, love how it pops out w/ yellow. Never black, completely hides the caliper. If not yellow, then silver, it's a cool look for a caliper color as well.

Yellow would be my first choice, had that on my '10 grigio titanio 458. Second choice would be black. Agree with prior poster that silver would clash, too many tones. Having said that, my opinion only, your call.

Thank you for the pictures, your car is beautiful. I do like the yellow calipers on your car, someone had mentioned that the yellow calipers do not match the yellow shields, is this an issue for you? In the pictures it's hard to tell the color difference. I had yellow calipers on my 430 but the rims hide the calipers so much more than the 20in diamonds so I think I will see the 458 calipers more. Thanks again!

If you are getting the Scuderia Fender Badges, then the yellow calipers will match up nicely.

The forged diamond wheels have a dark stripe running in the center of the spokes. The standard factory caliper color which is a dark flat charcoal color matches the stripe perfectly and makes for a great looking combo. Plus you don't have to pay extra.

Yellow is a Porsche color and it is a turbo. Is that REALLY what you want? ;)

Red calipers look great on Grigio Titanio Ferraris, but I would still prefer yellow.

The problem with yellow is all of the yellow on the car is different. If you darken side lights, insert black center wheel caps, and optional but ideal, carbon fiber shields, the red calipers standout from an otherwise all dark background. Black provides a stealth look and silver simply clashes. Best

NOOOOOO! :D I actually had a Porsche Turbo last spring, ABSOLUTELY a great great car, but...........it lacked soul, it just did. I drove that car for less than 600 miles and traded it, not because it wasn't a fabulous car, it sure was, but it just lacked soul. I traded it because it left me wanting more, it was the car that really made me feel & understand that Ferrari is special a different level. A sports car is not just track numbers (Porsche has great track numbers) it's much more than that, so thanks for making me remember why I love Ferrari. Black calipers sound better now :)

Controversial post. I have never understood the wish to highlight such an item as callipers. From my perspective it just looks brash and somewhat vulgar but that may well be more of a UK perspective. Everyone says it matches the badges, so what, why do you want to match the badges and highlight such a part so it breaks the lines and distracts the eye? I think there are only two alternatives, black or alloy, and black is £1000 cheaper! Each to their own however, that is the point of buying such a car.

I would go with a "cool" colour, seeing that Titanio has blue in it. Either dark blue or alloy calipers. Also, the yellow of the caliper and the shields is not the same, so personally I think they clash. I would definitely go alloy or dark blue on a Titanio car. It will match the exterior and it won't take away from or clash with the shields. Yellow works with Silverstone, Ferro etc. because it has brown in it. Another choice is to get them to colour match them in Titanio.

That's funny, I always loved to highlight the Calipers! Previous car was black Gallardo w/ black calipers, black wheels. And I hated the black Calipers. Might be a UK perspective, maybe Americans are "flashier"

And Yellow is absolutely sweet as a caliper color. Yes the Porsche 911s have it , to show you have ceramic brakes, from what I remember. But who cares? Anyways great to see everyones opinion and take on what they prefer, and the thought process involved.
