Here's a nice picture of Birdman's caliper decals, I think they really finish off the corners.. albeit 3 of them - Sorry JB! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i painted the calipers and the hats on my rotors, but after 1 weekend on the roadcourse all the finish was gone and i mean gone burnt to a crisp it lasted for awhile on the street but the track was murder, what sort of paint are you using and how hard has it been driven ? looks good by the way
I wire brushed them down to the cast iron and sprayed them with VHT caliper spray, about 3 coats as I recall; that was some time ago though, it hasn't faded or dulled a bit. Today I just scrubbed them up a bit to for the F logos. Cheers, I like the look as well.
I tried one set painted and one in powder coated...my powder coated calipers still look like new. (after 2 years now) Granted mine arent Ferrari but u get the idea.
The red Ferrari calipers always look nice but since this genious did this to his Ferrari I can't help but think about his poor Ferrari everytime I see these Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
But didnt it get taken away from him by his ex? Therefore some other poor sod is driving arround in a FED-EX!
Hi, these are 18" Team Dynamics Motorsport, 8" front 9" rear with 225/40 18 front and 235/40 18 rear. Image Unavailable, Please Login
We had a long thread awhile back about whether they stand up to the heat. After numerous posts nobody ever answered the most important question as to whether they melt. Typical.
Sorry to go off topic but arent team Dynamics wheels usually pretty heavy? (meaning around 25 pounds each or so) ....and I guess while I'm on it, are stock F car wheels lighter than that or no?

No, these are really light, well... compared to the compomotive that were on there before.. For the record, they have not melted yet, still look great. Mind you, i have not been in a situation where I have had to do some constant breaking; i.e. round a track. My car isnt a track car anymore - nor is it a garage queen, just gets used everyday..
