    Hey guys, I am picking up where I left off on my 348 brake caliper powder coating project. I am going with yellow for the caliper (thanks to pics from Sy) but I would like your opinions about what areas to make black. In the pic attached, I have labeled areas 1, 2 and 3. I am for sure going with black on the Ferrari lettering (1). But, do you think that I should also go with black on the line above and below the lettering (2) and/or the directional arrow (3) above everything? Thanks for the feedback! Todd

    IMO, leave everything else yellow. Ferrari letters in black only. Good luck on the project and don't forget to have the powdercoater mask off all the threads and the bores inside the caliper.

    I will absolutely be working right along side of him to make sure everything goes as planned. I have used this powder coating shop for many years and trust his work. But it does not hurt to be sure. ;)

    I agree, leave everything else yellow and only do the Ferrari lettering in black.

    Sounds good all yellow w/black letters.

    Here's an idea for you, gold plate that baby and the lettering should be the color of your car. Make sure you dont drive by one of those "will give cash for your gold."

    I was actually leaning toward doing just the letters in black but I wanted to get some other opinions first. Thanks guys

    I started this project in order to make my brake calipers pop in yellow but it looks like it is a good thing I took them apart. Look at what I found inside one of the calipers. Nasty stuff.

    Calipers are going to the powder coating shop tomorrow! :D They should be done by the end of next week. Can't wait!
