    Does anyone know wtf this is
    its rings on my phone at least 10 times a day
    number is
    (111)111-1

    thats it, not even full digits, I answer call ends right away within a second.

    annoying.

    Got this from another forum:

    There's also 'NotifyPhoneBasic' which will call any phone number in the US/Canada and read your message to that phone number. You can even set the caller id information.

    I have gotten calls from (000) 000-0000. Never anyone there. They must be generating out of a predictive dialer.

    A lot of times it's a Skype number. My web hosting company called me one day and I got like a 11-5-1 number on my CID and I asked about it. He said they use Skype and it can come up all kinds of weird ways.

    +1 It's probably a Skype user. My old man calls me sometimes & it'll show a bogus #. He wonders why I don't pick up...

    I don't waste my air time answering any number I don't recognize or where there is no caller ID. If they don't leave a message, I do not call back. I also screen all my calls on the house phone answering machine.

    I'd have to think so, some of my friends studying abroad use Skype and when they call their number is just a sequence of numbers in numerical order.
