I'm concerned about my clutch and wonder if it needs replacing. When I up shift hard it seems to skip. I had my clutch checked and the dealer said it was at 50% ( I have a 2007, F1) this summer. Thanks to all for the input.

    What do you mean "skip"?

You're saying you're hard on the gas and you upshift and what, exactly, happens? You're not lifting off the gas to shift, right?

Are you in Race mode (or CST-off) and at red-line? You could be hitting the rev-limiter.

I keep my foot on the gas peddle at a constant pressure. The car seems to have trouble catching the next gear ( from 1-2 mostly) and usually when I shift at 4-5k rpms. What type of things would I notice if the clutch was failing?

    Thanks in advance

    Fill out your profile.

How many miles, how is the car driven?

I can assure you, it's nothing you can fix. Take it in and have them run a diagnostic on it. The 430's have the best F-1's Ferrari has ever put in a car.

from my experience, at 50% the clutch is nearing the need to be replaced. Is skipping=you hit the paddle and the gear doesn't shift? does the car go into neutral when shifting sometimes? if not it might be an actuator problem...
