The French Quarter Classic is getting closer...and with it, the 2007 Grand Prix of Louisiana! From our website:

This year we are adding the scuderia to the Tradition. We are keeping the venues youve grown to love, the police ecorted tours, the Bourbon Street Balcony, the great food, frendship and music. However we are also reviving an old tradition - the Grand Prix of Louisiana - which was last held in 1952 and won by a Ferrari 315S. This year, the Grand Prix of Louisiana will re-emerge featuring past and present Ferrari Challenge cars. The Grand Prix and the 2007 French Quarter Classic will be the highlight of a two hour program filmed and broadcast by Cox Communications for the Travel Channel. The stars of the show will be the guests of the 2007 French Quarter Classic. Were pleased to host you once more and hope that everyone is ready for November 1st!

I would encourage f-chat members who race Challenge cars of any vintage to contact me privately about the event. We have gone out of our way to tailor an event which is especially appealing to racers. The whole weekend is a blast, (as many f-chatters can recount) and the Grand Prix will be the icing on the cake.
