Hey Doc! You are back! Please fill us in on your experience. I missed your posts!
Well, I got lost 30 lbs if that tells you anything. Saw how they live there. (Not so bad in the cities) Saw WHO is doing the killing. (Almost 95% of the bombers and serious killers are NOT from Iraq. Amazing huh?) Saw some stuff I did not think I would. (One day Abdul, a "friend" of mine who's coffee shop I liked, saw some people get out of two cars, put on masks and take weapons and start toward a PD station. Abdul put down his tea pot, took up his Kalashnikov, and whooped some ass!!! He had about three of them down and a few more pinned when his neighbor at the rug shop got into it too. By the time we got there they were arguing some what light heartedly about who got to keep which car!! Of course they are now on a hit list we figure so they get some extra protection. So yes, the Iraqi people dont like the insurgency much either, and some will take up arms against it if they see it.)
I remember when you said you were shipping out. Seems like yesterday. I'm glad your back safe, man. Now you get a chance to enjoy the pool.
Has it been a year already? Did you kiss the ground when you got back? Very Glad you're home & if you need to vent - go right ahead.
