Found these at another forum, and thought I would pass it along. It appears the FXX on its way to Orlando is currently in Atlanta, at the airport.
We had a huge influx of regsitrations over the last 4 days and are almost at capacity in the Ferrari section with 33 cars. The field will be over 150+ , Ferrari 2002 F1 Shumacher car, FXX, Enzo, 599, Veyron, MC 12 the works. However, the Ritz Carlton has just offered us an additional lawn that would be perfect for a club style grouping. Let me know if anyone is interested. [email protected]
It was good to see some of you today and the weather was absolutely beautiful. There was also a pretty nice collection of cars. I definitely enjoyed myself. I uploaded all the pictures. The glare from the sun was pretty bad, but I did my best. very nice show and a lot of super cars... Nice to see Schumi 2002 F1 car, a couple of Veyrons, a couple of Enzos and an FXX to name a few... My understanding is that one collector was responsible for bringing over 12 cars including the FXX, Enzo, Veyron, Saleen, a couple of 430, yellow 599, F1, etc, etc..... Thanks. We are pretty fortunate. There are a lot of really nice shows here. Yes, they interviewed him briefly. He's in the background of the picture I posted of the 2002 Schumacher F1 car standing behind the Enzo wearing a red shirt. I don't know what his name is, but Jason was there with me, perhaps he will be able to tell you.
I believe thats Michael Fux collection. He brought a few of his cars to the last Ferrari challange at homestead last yr and to last yrs Cavallino Classics and PBSCW.
Yes, I just did not want to reveal the name of the collector.. but its pretty obvious.. He has excellent taste in cars..
Wait, so that older white guy owned several of the cars? Anyone know who this is, pictured to the right of the FXX in the striped shirt? He was the one starting up, moving, wiping down, and carrying the keys to at least 5-10 cars. Oh, by the way, I took about 330 some photos, plus a couple videos. I'll have a link up in a couple hours.
He one of the few guys taking care of the cars, which included a security detail.... The owner is NOT the one with the back to the camera and the white hat in your photo.. Its another elderly gentelman with long white hair, no hat and red shirt. As Stephanie mentioned, its in the back of her third photo behind the Enzo (the F1 and Enzo) with the red shirt talking to the stripped shirt guy..
Here you guys go. Here's all my pics. Enjoy, and let me know what you think: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433455
Darn! I had this on my calendar, but managed to miss it yesterday. Now I see that they had a couple Veyron's there and that's my 10 year olds all time favorite exotic car! I'm sort of feeling like a 'bad dad' for letting him miss the opportunity to see them! Any idea if this car will be appearing at any other Florida shows in the near future? Thanks!
