Anybody know of a UK Dino in Black????????
I should have explained! My car was originally delivered in special order black. since then it has been silver then mid mettallic blue and then red twice!. I am pulling my hair out as to whether or not to put it back in black or go for the silver grey mettallic (forget the code right now) However i wondered if there was another car in the UK that i could maybe see if not too far away or just see some photo's of? Regards, G.P.
Sounds like mine! Originally Black, absolutely stunning especially when freshly polished. The key to black is its reflective quality. Driving at night with street lights reflected in the paint or on a bright day really is an amazing experience. But when the shine fades, it's a different story, add some road grime, dust or mud and it looks like well... ordinary. I agonized over this and went to red, with the sf badges and the little horse. Then for the restoration, I chose the metallic blue/teal color which I am very happy with. You can see a black gts on page 15 of omgjon's odyssey, but just for you signor nerodino something special: http://dinozord.tripod.com/ That's what google search for black dino gets you.
Nerodino Have a look at this link and scroll down the page to see all sorts of colours http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/dino.summary/index.html Tim
Rardley Motors currently have one listed. See here: http://www.rardleymotors.com/cars/006926/006926.htm Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan, I actually just spoke to Rardley Motors and the car is sold. The owner apparently lives in Putney and is about to have the car repainted! but Rardley does'nt know what colour, but he kindly said that he would put me in touch with the owner. It's also strange that it's also a Flared arch car. Regards, Graham Paske.
Hi all, this car is very close to the one I am restoring at present, 06996. It was originally the same colour, same trim colour and also had the flared arches and Campags! Interesting! Alasdair Cwan
Al, Spooky! I need to talk to you about trim you mentioned just off down the watering hole, but will call. Regards, G.P.
