The 308QV SPC has the 44mm OD bearing being implemented on late 308QV (and continued into 328). The early 308QV use the SKF 6203 (40mm OD) basic size -- for example, SKF 6203-2RS1/C4HT51 (previously posted by Verell Boaen).
So how are you going to pull your bearings out? I've seen the special tool used frequently but am hoping that there is another alternative.
Haven’t got there yet, called Ferrparts and got the bearings straightened out, the ones I need are half the price. I considered just leaving them alone because they seem fine but others have had them go bad and I figure if Ferrari decided to put bigger bearings in I should just change these out as preventative maintenance. Easy to do with the engine out and on the stand.
Real enthusiasts dont remove the engine. Or the deck. They leave the wheels on too, the way Enzo drove it. And use SAE tools. From Harbor Freight.
Those are the words of a true manly man. I've even learned to make the blood sacrifice at the start of the procedure and use the oil/crud from under the car to quench the bleeding.
While it's out, definitely change them-- here is a link to the tool: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/308-cam-drive-bearing-replacement-info.103998/ also drill the blind hole in the bellhousing https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/dereks-308-engine-rebuild.535247/page-15#post-145474206 and the drain hole near the cam seal: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/328-cam-seal-oil-drain-hole.267158/
