Had a CEL today for 1-4 CYL, so, checked the codes and flagged 4114. Checked the sensor and the plug was broken! Cleaned the connectors and plugged it back in. Reset the ECU, test drove the car and all was well.

Just wondering if anyone knows the part I need to replace the plug? The sensor seems to be fine. Looked online and it cost over $300 for the cam sensor now!

Yes, and I believe the KIA part is a direct substitute.

    Also Bosch 0261210126.

    About $75.

Sorry. that is for the 355. Didn't realize you had a 348. Are they the same????

Yeah, it's a 348. I know the crank sensor is the same as a Kia, but this is the cam sensor.

Thinking I can just buy the Kia sensor and the phase sensor and make my own. Would cost about $50 buck but much cheaper than $300! From what I've read, they used to cost $100 buck, and that sounds more reasonable. If I end up doing this, I will let everyone know how it goes.

I was just wondering if I should buy a Kia so I could have a pile of substitute parts for my 348...

Might be a good idea! :)

But honestly, all I need is the plug. I could careless if it goes on a Kia.

With all the parts I see it on, I figured it was out there. Just didn't know who made it. Thanks!
