    I've got my engine out doing a service right now and have the typical LH cam seal leaks.... I am exploring the causes / fixes and am aware of the drain hole modification, but does anyone have a jig for this?
    I'm a little nervous of taking a drill to my engine without knowing exactly where the hole needs to go...

    Perhaps Ricambi America where you should also get the cam seals. Other sources have been known to have cam seal leak issues even after fresh install.

    Drain holes are a must to lower the incidences of leaks.
    By the way there is a video on youtube of a F355 engine out service. In one of these video this excellent mechanic specialist in Ferrari shows how to file the inner edges of the cam seal recess to avoid the "bite" of the coupled surfaces and how to "seal" everything proprerly. Honestly, l Idk if it is valid for 348 or not.
