    Not as cool as Lytro, but maybe a bit closer to market, Satarii makes a cool camera accessory. It is a mount into which you will place your camera.

    The mount has a receiver of some kind and motors. Then you will place a marker transmitter on your target. As that marker moves, the camera mount will rotate your camera to follow it.

    We do a lot of sports photography/videography where we have to pan with the target to get our best shots. This sort of device would allow us to place cameras in unusual, maybe dangerous, spots, and the mount would do the panning for us.

    For those of you into making "amateur" video, this might help you keep your subjects in frame ;) without the necessity of a real person behind the camera.
